Our Tissue Paper Story

The Story of Our Logo

Founded in June of 1985 by James Sauerwine, Trucks Part Plus, Inc. was built from a desire to do things differently. After years of working for someone else, the founder knew he wanted to create a business of his own; one built around quality products, dedication, and exceptional customer service.

His original vision was to build a business that could provide the trucking industry with quality parts, dependable service, and a level of customer care that people could count on. Today, after 41 years in a highly competitive market, Trucks Part Plus remains the last family-owned “Ma and Pa” heavy-duty distributor in Central Pennsylvania.

What truly sets Trucks Part Plus apart is the way customers are treated. The company believes in going above and beyond, building lasting relationships, and providing service with dedication and excellence. Just as importantly, the company values and appreciates the employees who have helped make its success possible.

Even the Trucks Part Plus logo has a story of its own. Forty-one years ago, during a conversation at a local bar with an artist, the idea for the logo was sketched on a napkin, and that original idea became the logo that represents the company today.

After more than four decades, Trucks Part Plus continues to stand by the values it was founded on: family, dedication, gratitude, and exceptional customer service.
